Boho Hoodies Keeps You Chic and Warm

The problem with looking bohemian is that it’s a little too feminine sometimes—too much flowing fabrics, too much complicated designs, and most of the boho chic pieces out there look like they can’t protect you if it gets chilly. It’s not a very practical and versatile style.

These days however, a lot of designers are incorporating contemporary sensibilities onto boho aesthetics. While we’re used to the usual boho blouses and tunics, one new innovation are boho chic long sleeve hoodies by Johnny Was.

Other than protecting against the climate, this fusion of modern design into bohemian aesthetics is the result of boho chic’s resurrection into the fashion seasons, with boho being paired with other looks, like boho rock, or bourgeois boho or bobo look, and even boho street.

Since traditional bohemian styles favor flowy skirts and tops, sheer fabrics and embellishments, it’s difficult to incorporate this look into daily wear. So if you’re into boho and are interested in making this a daily style feature, then here’s some tips you’ll surely like.

Look for pieces like Johnny Was hoodies or outerwear. The pieces are both boho chic but undeniably versatile. You can wear them with a normal t-shirt and instantly look bohemian. Wear it with a classy dress and instantly add a dash of frivolity to your outfit.
Pair bohemian pieces with basic style necessities. For example, a flowy boho top would look strikingly well with a plain, neutral colored pencil skirt or stovepipe trousers and simple heels. A cable-knit sweater with a long boho or maxi skirt would look very stylish—just add a good gold necklace and earrings, style your hair and you’re ready to step out of the house.

Opt to use boho chic accessories, like earrings, bangles, pendants and so on, as accents to a different look. The good thing about the bohemian look is that if paired with other styles as an accent, it makes the outfit play and stops it from becoming boring. If you’re preppy, a sheath dress with bohemian accessories would look striking together. If you’re more of a rocker chick try adding fur and statement bangles, even earrings to your usual leather jacket and combat boots—you’ll find it adds a nice touch of color without distracting from your outfit’s edginess. Boho hoodies look great with accessories and it also shows your personality.

In any case, these few tips should help you look a little bit more bohemian with fabulous boho hoodies.
