Steps on How to be a Boho Chic

Being a boho chic is rather easy and you don’t have to struggle. There are a lot of shops that have dedicated their apparels for this look, while you can probably find an item that can be considered as boho chic even if it’s not really a shop that caters to such style. You won’t have a problem looking for clothes and accessories with this style. You will also enjoy this kind of look as it encourages a free spirit and brings out just the right amount of confidence.

Today, we have come up with easy to follow steps to help you get that look a boho girl without appearing trying too hard.

Step 1: Mixing and Layering Clothes
The boho-chic look loves to layer items together and what’s more noticeable about this look is that it brings together contrasting elements from short with long, prints with quirkier prints, and loose with tight fitting clothes. Go ahead and wear a loose fitting pair of boots while wearing dark stockings, it’ll look great! But don’t forget about the balance of the overall look but that can be remedied by accessories if your clothes are not in the right balance.

Step 2: Boho Colors
The boho chic are often found in earth colors. Warm colors are always great and you will notice that boho chic girls often like to pair neutral to earth colored clothes together. Too much of bright and loud colors aren’t suggested but if you really must wear a brightly colored item then it is advised that the color should be kept to a minimum, like leaving it to accessories.
The thing here to keep is not to wear too many different colors, just play with colors like black, brown, copper, gunmetal, cream, khaki and the likes.

Step 3: Shoes, Bags, and Blings
Shoes and bags are almost the same that the details are great if they are fringed leather and tassel, or if they drape that are made out of soft fabrics. Quirky details here are important since they are the ones that adds charm to the look and also the personality. Shoes can be boots with loose fittings to the leg, not necessarily hugging the calf of the legs but a bit loose should be fine. The boho chic look promotes a laid back style that is reflected in the items worn hence the loose fits. Blings can be brightly colored and are always by numbers. Add delicate pieces together to get that boho chic look.
